Recently, Guatemala experienced windy and cold days. Some people will remember the wind gusts that affected most of the country and the low temperatures, caused by the high pressure system that was approaching the national territory.
For this week, the meteorological conditions will be different, because the weather will be hotter, as INSIVUMEH reported yesterday. Clear skies will alternate with partly cloudy conditions during daytime, allowing solar radiation to reach the surface, while temperature will decrease at night, making it considerably cold. Meteorological frosts can appear in the highlands. Rains are not discarded for the North Transversal Stripe, Caribbean and South Western Guatemala.
It is important to attend the recommendations issued by authorities due to weather’s variations. It is imperative to protect ourselves from solar radiation during the day using sunscreen, or dressing warmly according to the cold temperatures in our location.
