A series of workshops targeting the personnel of the Municipal Planning Directories DMPs of the department of Escuintla started this week. This workshop is called “Territorial Planning and Risk Management”, and it is being facilitated in Escuintla.
As part of the process to build capacities in risk management, the following topics will be facilitated: Risk Management Analysis in Projects of Public Investment, along with the regulations of structural safety, and adapting to the current conditions of climate change.
This workshop started last Wednesday November 8th and will finish by February of next year, and it will be facilitated by professionals of SEGEPLAN, CONRED, and the ICC, and it will be supported by TROCAIRE. This activity is part of the project: “Improving resilience in Central America supporting the implementation of the Sendai Framework for action 2015 – 2030”, which is financially supported by the European Union Humanitarian Help and Civil Protection.
