The Climate and Hydrology Research Program of the ICC reports that it is monitoring the low pressure system that the Harvey Tropical Storm left on the Caribbean ocean and that is located in north of Honduras and moving towards Belize. This system causes instability in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, hence cloudy skies, light drizzles, rains, and thunderstorms can occur in the southern and central regions of the country. These conditions can start as of today afternoon.
The low pressure system can produce important amounts of rain in the country as of today afternoon. Rains could be more intense as of tomorrow Tuesday the 22nd. These conditions will continue through the week. Also, there could be an increase in wind speed.
